Ritchie Bignell

An entire working career spent dealing directly with customers in an after sales arena.  As this is often a distress purchase for clients, I have been able to apply empathy with the customer’s needs and tailor make the service to suit their requirement.

Fourteen years in the Motor Trade with the same Volvo Truck and Bus franchise, rising to be General Manager of the largest and busiest dealer point in Europe.

I then spent six years with the world’s leading street cleaning machine manufacturer, Johnston Sweepers, responsible for their global customer support division either dealing directly with customers or via a franchised dealer network.

In 2009 I changed industries entirely and became Operations Director for a perimeter security products manufacturer, staying there for four years.  This gave me an in depth understanding of ISO, which I implemented into the business.

Since 2014, I worked for another gate manufacturer as Director for two years, improving the after sales side of the business.

Finally, decided to take the plunge and start Pearly Gate in 2016.

I would describe myself as an entrepreneurial leader, communicator and seller who is able to think creatively and innovatively, positively transforming performance through team building and empowerment, embracing change management in complex and fluid situations.

My passion is Customer Service.
